Kunstkeramik Paul Dachsel
Paul Dachsel left Amphora in 1903 to start his own porcelain factory. His designs were innovative and modern.
His ceramic vessels were made of hard earthenware. They had geometric patterns, low and high relief floral elements, and natural matte glazes offset on some pieces with opalescent glazes. He also designed vases with stylized branches, leaves, pine cones, and trees.
He had great artistic vision, but his company like his brother-in- law, Eduard Stellmacher also declared bankruptcy in 1910.
